The Event Center at Castlegate II can comfortably host your event with seating of over 100 guests and is equipped with a large kitchen, sound system, wall mounted flat screen TV for presentations and slide shows with large windows overlooking the patio and lake. Royder Road Closure

As of yesterday afternoon Royder Road ia closed from Greens Prairie Trail to Backwater Drive.  This closure will be in place for the next 10 months while the roadway is being reconstructed into a 3 lane major collector section with bike lanes and sidewalks.  There are detour routes in place for those who typically use Royder to get north and south in the area.

The roadway is also closed to all pedestrain and bicycle traffic.  If you walk or bike children to the schools along Greens Prairie Trail and can not drive them as alternative.  CSISD is offering bus services to the Creak Meadows sections north of Greens Prairie TRail.

Those of you who are in teh Royder Ridge, access to the neighborhood will need to be in and our Ledgestone. 

There will be no access along Royder Road.

2017 Character Breakfast

Scotty's House Character Breakfast 

Dreams become a reality at the most exciting and magical event in the Brazos Valley! On October 21st, join characters from all of your favorite movies and television shows for an enchanting dining experience at the Scotty's House Character Breakfast.  Snap a photo, get an autograph, and visit your favorite  character from tv and the movies. Please help support this event…and encourage the mission of Scotty’s House….serving abused children in the Brazos Valley.  

 AND this year the team at Celebrity is joining in as well!  We will be providing pirate and princess makeovers for the youth attendees for only $5!

 If you are interested in becoming a table sponsor,  sponsoring a child from Head Start, or just purchasing single tickets please feel free to give me a call!  We do have VIP tables available as well!

Proposed Changes to the Unified Development Ordinance

Thanks to those of you that attended the stakeholder meetings on August 30th and provided feedback on proposed changes to the Unified Development Ordinance. As a follow-up to the stakeholder meetings, we are also placing the information online (click here) for additional review and feedback. Staff’s contact information is included under each topic area and we will continue to receive feedback until Friday, September 15th.

George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Fall 2017

The George H.W. Bush Presdential Library and Museum has announced its Fall Education Programs schedule for 2017. These events are designed with education and fun in mind. See below for some of the upcoming events planned, or go to for a complete and current schedule of events and exhibits.

  • September 15: 7:00pm, Movies by the Pond, "Babe"
  • October 26: 10:30am-11:30am and 12:30pm-1:30pm, Chemistry Road Show by Dr. Jim Pennington
  • November 2: 10:30am-11:30am and 12:30pm-1:30pm, Humorous Poetry by Colonel Wayne Edwards, the Family Poet
  • November 16: 10:30am-11:30am and 12:30pm-1:30pm, Aesop Storytelling by Master Storyteller Barbara Hailey

Drama Kids Classes

Drama Kids’ extensive and comprehensive curriculum was designed by educators, and is the result of more than 35 years of experience and continuous development. While kids are learning and developing new creative thinking styles and skills, they are also developing other important life skills, including public speaking. ALL Drama Kids programs are guaranteed to be both educational and FUN!

Enroll now for the 2017-2018 school year! $25 Annual Registration Fee is charged at time of registration. New students are welcome to join us at any time if there is space available in the class!
